Services for Contractors
We provide drilling, excavating and limited-access grading services as subcontractors to general contractors. If shoring or foundation work is not your specialty, give us a call and we will be happy to discuss our capabilities and pricing for our various services. We specialize in limited-access projects and working in narrow and low-clearance areas.
Some specifics:
- Ability to drill 12" to 30" diameter borings to a depth of 45’ before the need for stemming with our 60" wide track-mounted drill rig
- Capable of drilling up to 30" diameter borings where clearance is only 8’ in height with our stand-alone drill rig
- Ability to access work areas through standard-sized interior doorways for setup
- Proficient at improving interior and exterior existing shallow foundations through addition of deep foundation elements
In addition to construction services we are also certified to provide Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) services on large- and small-scale projects. The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program was created to minimize effects of construction stormwater discharge on all waterways. Haven Geotechnical Construction employs Qualified SWPPP Developers (QSD) to create project-specific SWPPP and Qualified SWPPP Practitioners (QSP) to observe, monitor, document and report per approved project SWPPP. Our expert staff creates and implements efficient, compliant SWPPP by understanding the characteristics of each project site to:
- Reduce permit delays due to inadequate SWPPP
- Employ the most appropriate Best Management Practices (BMPs)
- Reduce project costs
- Meet current California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) guidelines and current County and Local City agency standards
- Limit exposure to criminal and civil penalties that often result from poor stormwater management and pollution prevention practices
